Having re-established itself on a solid footing over the past couple of years, Pride In London returns to the capital once more in the last weekend, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28, of June.
The two key elements of Pride, the Saturday parade through Central London and the stage in Trafalgar Square will return.
Official events will of course be supported by a host of unofficial parties from London’s bars and clubs and here’s a quick run through of events up to Pride weekend.
Sink The Pink hosts its annual summer ball on Saturday 20 June at Troxy which is the official launch party for Pride (490 Commercial Road, E1 0HX) with a special guest performance from Little Mix.Former N*SYNC member, Lance Bass is a guest judge at G-A-Y’s weekly watch-through-your-fingers spectacle G-A-Y Porn Idol on Thursday 25 June.
The Pride Parade
The main parade will run through Central London on Saturday 27 June from 1pm along its traditional route from Baker Street through Oxford Circus, Piccadilly and Whitehall to Trafalgar Square.
Trafalgar Square Entertainment Stage
The entertainment stage in Trafalgar Square will run from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday 27 June. The full line-up of hosts and performers is to be announced. Entry is free, but a donation of £3 is encouraged.
Soho will once again play host to a dedicated family area and women’s and cabaret stages on Saturday 27 June.
London Live (Freeview Channel 8) will present live coverage on the day from 4pm to 6pm.
West End Bars
Road closures will be in place throughout Soho. The bars of Soho will be open from mid-day Saturday until very late:
The Edge Soho (11 Soho Square) Open until 3am. Entry is free before 10.30pm.
Circa (62 Frith Street) Open until 5am with DJs Kris Di Angelis, Adam Turner, Munroe Bergdorf, Sam DMS, Jonathan Bestley, Attack Attack Attack, Louis Chatten.
Rupert Street Bar (50 Rupert Street) Open until 3am.
The Yard (57 Rupert Street) Open until 12.30am.
Ku Bar (30 Lisle Street & 25 Frith Street) All Ku venues open until 3am.
Freedom Bar (66 Wardour Street) Open until 5am.
The Shadow Lounge (5 Brewer Street, W1F 0RF) presents “Pride Masochism”. Open from 8pm until 5am with DJs Lee Harris and Massimo Paramour and special performances by Boylexe.

Beefmince is the official after party of Soho pub The King’s Arms at the Corscica Studios in Elephant & Castle (Elephant Road, SE17 1LB). Advance tickets are now on sale.Saturday night staple XXL at Pulse in Southwark also has tickets on sale for its Pride night (10pm to 7am). We Party will also be hosting a Pride special under the banner “Gods Of Olympus” from 10pm to 7am at The Coronet Theatre, Elephant & Castle. Advance tickets are on sale now. This will be followed by a special Beyond at The Ministry of Sound. Once again Duckie decamps from The Royal Vauxhall Tavern for its annual London “Gay Shame” party. The theme this year is “Border Force” at Camden Town Hall, Euston Road. Tickets on sale now.
Vauxhall Pride In The Park – Sunday 28 June
Pride In The Park returns once again on Sunday afternoon from 1pm at the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. More details including a planned agenda for the afternoon are on Facebook.

Expect a very busy Sunday Social with Simon Le Vans and Charlie Hides TV at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
Early arrival is recommended & re-entry should be available for those wanting to join the picnic in the park.

One for daytime clubbers: Society returns for a Pride special at Fire from 2pm.The Eagle: Horse Meat Disco
What better way to round off a Pride weekend than our perennial favourite Horse Meat Disco at The Eagle (349 Kennington Lane) with guest DJs Yam Who and Bad Barbie vs Evil Smarty from 8pm to 3am.
