With Easter now approaching, here’s our early “first cut” of events taking place in London over the Easter weekend:
We’ll be continually updating our pages up until the Easter weekend with the latest event and ticket information.
The Royal Vauxhall Tavern launches its new Sunday afternoon Sunday Social from 2pm. Simon Le Vans performs until Cabaret with Charlie Hides TV at 5.30pm. DJs Andy Almighty, Sean Sirrs, Moto Blanco then carry on until 3am. The RVT is also open from 2pm on Easter Monday.
Eliad Cohen’s “Papa” returns to The Qube (formerly Pacha nightclub) from 6pm on Easter Sunday, 5 April. £10 tickets are on sale now.
Our firm favourite for any Sunday on a bank holiday weekend is of course Horse Meat Disco at The Eagle (Kennington Lane, Vauxhall). Arrival before doors open at 8pm is recommended.
In the West End, Easter festivities continue New Bloomsbury Set (76 Marchmont Street, WCN1 1AG – Open until 23:30), Circa (62 Frith Street – Open until 1am), The Yard (57 Rupert Street), Ku Bar (30 Lisle Street – Open until 3am), Ku Soho (25 Frith Street – Open until midnight) Rupert Street Bar (50 Rupert Street – Open until midnight), Edge Bar (11 Soho Square, W1D 3QE – Open until 3am) and Freedom Bar (66 Wardour Street, W1F 0TA – Open until 3am).
Moving East, “Bender” is East Bloc’s (217 City Road, EC1V 1JN) regular Sunday night party, continuing the pop theme of East Bloc this weekend, with added R’n’B. Doors open at 10.30pm. Admission is a modest £5, including drink and coat check. DJs are Lady Lloyd and Tasty Tim. There’s more on Facebook.
