As Andre 3000 once remarked, “Now what’s cooler than bein’ cool? Ice Cold!”
And so the organisers behind the Summer Rites “Out On The Dock” festival (by all accounts, one of the better events in London this year) return for another winter event, a “Winter Frost Festival” at the Tobacco Dock on Saturday 15 November.
On this occasion, it’s a night time event, with seven hours of ice block rockin’ beats from 9pm to 4am.
Arenas include a Girls Arena, Bear Pit, R’n’B Vault (featuring Bootylicious and Misfits) and East Bloc (Dish, Handsome, Blocheads and Choice Cuts).
Trade returns with Smokin Jo, Nick Tcherniak, Tom Stephan, The Sharp Boys, Kyle e & Manic Brothers.
Also returning is London club Crash with Guy Williams, Paul Coals & Andrew Moore.
Also promised is the return of Club Ghetto with a selection of DJs from Don’t Call Me Babe, Miss Shapes and Wig Out.
The event is preceded by the “Winter Pride Arts Awards” event, for which tickets are also now on sale.
There’s event information on Facebook and here’s a plan of the site for those attending:
