London Gay Pride 2014: Official & unoffical Pride weekend events – Saturday 28 June night (South London)

“Pride in London” returns to the capital once more, with the main festivities over the weekend of Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June.

Here’s a run-through of some of the key official & unofficial events during on the night of Saturday 28 June in South London:

Elephant & Castle: We Party at The Coronet Theatre

We Party returns to what will no doubt be a very crowded Coronet Theatre (28 New Kent Road) in Elephant & Castle for Pride weekend. The theme on this occasion is “Kiss Me Tiger”.

DJ Luiggi is the headliner with support from We Party regulars Steve Pitron, Gonzalo Rivo and Zach Burns. The 2nd room is hosted by Trannyshack.

Southwark: XXL at Pulse

In Southwark, it’s the ever-expanding (if not to universal acclaim) Saturday night XXL at Pulse (1 Invicta Place), with XXL Retro running through to 8am Sunday morning.

Vauxhall: Sexcircus at Area

London’s newest porn/clubbing hybrid brand “Sexcircus” (after Play>Time and District XXX) returns for a 2nd outing at Area (67-68 Albert Embankment).

Confirmed porn star performers include Damien Crosse, Jonathan Agassi, Francesco Oliviero, Lucio Saints, and Brent Everett. DJs include Matt Bogard, Lee Harris and Brent Nichols. There’s more on Facebook.

On a similar note, it looks like the Hustlaball, which has been traditionally held at this time of year, is not returning to London in 2014.

The Royal Vauxhall Tavern: A Special Pride Party hosted by Wotever World

Whilst Duckie decamps from the Royal Vauxhall Tavern to the Electric Brixton for the night (see below), the Royal Vauxhall Tavern hosts a special pride party by Wotever World.

Vauxhall: R18 unrestricted with Pride

The Eagle’s monthly Saturday night “R18” returns with “R18: Unrestricted with Pride” from 9pm to 4am. Alfie Stone and Scott Hunter will perform live on stage at midnight. Entry is free before 10pm and all night for those that dress in keeping with the R18 theme.

Brixton: Duckie Gay Shame & Lesbian Weakness at Electric Brixton
