Push The Button returns with “Minogue vs Minogue” at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern this August

After a sell out night at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern last August Bank Holiday weekend (2013 has flown by!), Push The Button returns with another “Minogue vs Minogue” over two nights at the RVT this August.

Whilst the RVT’s “Duckie” temporarily decamps to The Southbank Centre for one week on Saturday 10 August, Push The Button takes over with a night dedicated to Kylie Minogue. In the words of Push The Button:

MINOGUE vs MINOGUE PART I: La, la, la… it’ s time to dust off those golden hot-pants and wiggle your tiny bum to all the Kylie HITS – and good god there’s a lot of them! We’ll be cramming as many as of the pop princesses tracks in to one night for All The Bummers.

Aside from playing loads of Kylie we’ll also be tipping our cork-hats to the country responsible for producing the BEST POP on the PLANET (after Sweden…) and the BEST TV SHOWS – it’s AUSTRALIA! We might even attempt to light a barbecue if Silverthorn gives us our transducers back.

Tickets are available now (about 40 are left at the time of writing and they will sell out).

Part 2, dedicated to Dannii is on Friday 30 August 2013. Back to the words of Push The Button:

PART II: PUSH THE BUTTON pays tribute to she who was been described as “the heir apparent” OR “the secondary Minogue” dependant on your point of view. Well, THIS IS IT: an entire night dedicated to professional judge, mother and singer/songwriter (*cough*) DANNII MINOGUE!

Aside from playing loads of Dannii we’ll also be tipping our cork-hats to the country responsible for producing the BEST POP on the PLANET (after Sweden…) and the BEST TV SHOWS – it’s AUSTRALIA! We might even attempt to light a barbecue if Silverthorn gives us our transducers back.

Tickets for the Dannii event are also on sale now.
