“How To Survive A Plague” at The Curzon Soho, Thursday 16 May

The Curzon Cinema Soho is holding a special screening of the Oscar nominated documentary “How To Survive A Plague”, which was shown at the last BFI London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, at 6.10pm on Thursday 16 May. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Peter Tatchell.

This documentary tells the story of how activist groups, Act Up and Treatment Action Group, took on the US government and pharmaceutical companies to accelerate the development of drugs to fight AIDS. It is a very powerful documentary and we strongly recommend taking the chance to see it. Further details are on the Curzon website and Twitter.

Here is a review of How To Survive A Plague when it was screened at the BFI LLGFF.
