Madonna Celebrate & Madonnalicious mark the 20th anniversary of “The Girlie Show” Sunday 5th May 2013

Madonna’s “Girlie Show” tour is twenty years’ old this year and to mark the occasion, Madonna Celebrate and UK-based Madonna blogger Madonnalicious are throwing a charity benefit in aid of St. Stephens AIDS Trust at The Retro Bar, 2 George Court, London, WC2N 6HH at 5pm on Sunday 5 May 2013.

The event promises Madonna performances, ‘M’ videos, DJs, a Material Girl Quiz, an ‘M’ Tombola with marvellous Madge memorabilia all to raise funds and awareness for St. Stephen’s AIDS Trust. To conclude this very memorable night, there will be a dance and sing-a-long screening of the entire Girlie Show concert on a big screen.

The event is hosted by David Robson (G-A-Y/Heaven), Neil Prince (Songs of Praise, Guilty Pleasures), Craig (Eurosolutions) and Kurt Hoffman (Madonna Celebrate).

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 20 March 2013 and are limited in number to 100. Tickets will cost £5 & (booking fee), for which ticketholders will receive a gift on the night, at www.ticketweb.com

Should you not be able to make the event itself, you can of course watch The Girlie Show on DVD, and the same cannot be said for Madonna’s “Blond Ambition” Tour (cough, cough)!

Update: This event has now sold out.
