G-A-Y’s track record of attracting big name PAs from international performers (Madonna, Lady GaGa, Adele, Kylie Minogue) speaks for itself. However, it does seem like a while since an international artist has appeared on the stage at Heaven with PAs in recent months dominated by current and former X Factor contestants and, more recently, participants in ITV2’s Big Reunion (Atomic Kitten are performing tonight and B*Witched appear on 16 March).
Nicole Sherzinger who did endear herself to the UK public at large as a judge on the last series of The X Factor (somewhat ironically after a less successful appearance on the first series of X Factor USA), not least because she actually appeared to care about her acts, appears at G-A-Y on Saturday 9 March.
Entry is £7 with wristbands obtainable on the day from G-A-Y bar on Old Compton Street. It should be marginally more with a flyer, available from the entrance to G-A-Y bar, and even more without neither a wristband nor a flyer. As this is likely to be a busy night, expect G-A-Y’s opaque “members and regulars” door policy to be enforced (read: no groups of teenage girls).
Update: Here are pictures from the night
